How To Make Consistent Progress

How do you make consistent progress in any area of your life?

So, doesn’t it feel like sometimes you just get stuck in certain areas and you don’t know why?

Whether it’s your family and relationships or if it’s your job, your finances, your health and wellness, whatever it is, you just seem to be stuck in a certain area and you’re not making progress.

Your progress in any era of your life is directly related to your ability to choose to make progress in that area of your life.

So it’s been said that the stress that we feel in life is related to the gap that we have between what we want to accomplish and where we feel we are at the present moment.

And so in any area of our life, if we feel like we are not where we want to be, that can cause stress in our lives.

When it comes right down to it, if we haven’t made the kind of progress that we want to make in a certain area of our life, it’s really because we haven’t chosen to make progress in that area in our life.

So what do I mean by that?

If you’re not making progress in that area of your life, it’s really because you haven’t gotten clarity about what you want to happen.

But when you become aware of this and you decide that you want to make a change, the key is, that you choose, that you make the choice that you are going to have significant progress in that area of your life.

And so first, there’s awareness, then there’s the choice. And then what happens is then you sit down and get clarity about specifically what you want. Where are you presently in that area of your life and where are you going and what do you want to accomplish in that area of your life?

  • Make The Choice For Progress
  • Clarity

Once you do that, my friends, and you’ve chosen to progress forward towards the goals that you want to achieve in that area, well then guess what happens? Then you’re well on your way to making progress.

So I know it almost seems too simple to work, but it’s true.

Pick any area of your life that you feel like you’re not making progress or may not making the progress that you want to make.

Once you’re aware of that, then you make the choice to say, “okay, I am going to progress in this area.”

And remember very often you haven’t progressed because you haven’t gotten clarity on what you want.

And if you haven’t gotten clarity, what you do is you default to the same habits that you do day in and day out and you’ve done for the last week, the last month, the last year and last decade in that area of your life.

One of my favorite quotes is,

“If you always do what you’ve always done, then you’ll always be what you’ve always been.”

So if you keep doing the same habit patterns, that you have been doing, then you’re going to get the same results that you’ve been getting.

Another great quote is Einstein’s definition of insanity, which is …doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

So if you are aware of the area in your life that you want to make a change and then you make the choice that you’re going to make it happen, then you sit down and get clarity on exactly what you want in that area and what you want to accomplish. What are your specific goals, whether it’s your finances, whether it’s your job and career, whether it’s your relationship, whether it’s your health and wellness. What is it that you specifically want?

And then you make the choice that make it happen. And then what’s going to happen is then you’re going to start to take new actions that are going to get you on the road towards accomplishing your goal.

But until you’ve become aware of it, until you’ve make the choice to make it happen, until you get clarity about what you want in that specific area of your life, it won’t happen.

But once you do, you’re going to start to see huge progress in that area.

So what I want you to do is after watching this video, and I want you to make the choice that you’re gonna make it happen.

And then with pen and paper, I want you to write down with specific clarity exactly what you want to happen, what are your goals in that area of your life. And then what’s going to happen is once you set the goal, that doesn’t make it happen.

Now you’re have to write out the plans and the actions that it’s going to take to make that goal come to fruition. And then my friend, then you’re going to start taking steps towards reaching that goal and they’re going to be consistent new actions that are going to take you to reaching that goal.

  • Make The Choice
  • Clarity about what you Want: Your Goals
  • Take Action

Because,if you keep doing the same things that you’re doing, you’re going to stay at this level. At the same level you have been.

Another great saying I just heard again the other day is …

“Don’t get upset with the results that you didn’t get with the work that you didn’t do.”

Don’t be afraid to take new actions!

Once you make the choice and you get clarity about what you want, then you’ll start to see yourself taking actions towards that goal.

And so, as you start to make this happen in this area of your life and you’re taking steps towards reaching your goals and making consistent progress, then you can look to other areas of life and do the same thing.

Remember, if you’re having trouble and feeling like you’re stuck in any area of your life, use this simple tool.

And the simple tool is to choose to make it happen.

You are so much stronger than you know.

You have the ability to accomplish anything you set your mind to.

So set your mind to this area of your life and make it happen
